Rosegarth Square Community Excavation has kicked off this week and we’re pleased to be able to open a window into Boston’s past! Over the next fortnight volunteers can join our team to investigate the area by B&M that was once filled by terraced housing and pubs. So far the team have found hand made brick, glass and household items. The houses were demolished in the 1960s and 1970s as part of the regeneration of the area. You can read more about the project and about Boston Borough Council’s plans for Rosegarth Square here.
As part of the project we’d love to hear your recollections of the area. You can tell us your stories via this on-line form .
